On September 8 Phoebe gave birth to 7 kittens!

At 0.56 hours announced the first kitten herself and because I wanted to know if nature would take over the control I just sat and looked. Phoebe did great! I had nothing to do. Kitten was from removed his/her skin, washed, the wait for the placenta and the umbilical cord was then bitten. While the kitten was still tired to the umbilical cord it was already busy looking for a suitable nipple. Kitten 2 came half hours later. He had no quality time alone with Phoebe, because the kitten had just arrived or number three was born! Again, I just looked at what Phoebe was doing and she was so relaxed when she did the previous ritual to both kittens.

Number 4 came around 2.15 hours and 2.34 hours number 5 was born. We still felt something in her belly and indeed, number 6 is reported at 3.13 pm. This kitten came backwards. But Phoebe was not ready! At 3.33 o'clock number 7! We could not believe it!

The weights proposed course not much, but what do you with 7 kittens! It varies between 66 and 82 grams. We keep close eye on them and feed where necessary.
