Yesterday (Chaos) Athos (kitten Phoebe 2009) has been with his owner Natascha to his first show. It was a FIFe show organized by Felis Belgica at Tienen.

Athos behaved excellent. He has an Excellent 1 (highest in the kitten class) and has even been nominated for the Best in Show (BIS)!

The five kittens of Faylinn are busy bees! Once they see or hear you they look up from the kitten run and start to squeal, because they like to be taken up and cuddled.

Titus and Cupid have found the Carnibest and eat along with mama Faylinn. Julia has already taken a few cautious bites of Carnibest, but the rest leaves it with milk at the moment.

This week we have placed the kitten run in front of the delivery box, so now the kittens have a lot of space where they can walk, run and play.

Sometimes they look curiously into the food bowl of mama Faylinn and sometimes they even take a bite, but so far they give preference to mother's milk. That is no problem, because if we look at the weights of the kittens it seems she gives more than enough milk! And they are self-limiting on solid food. Occasionally we stop some raw meat in their mouths to let them taste and smell to get used.

Lima and Titus are covered in fuzzy! These are long white hairs which is the natural camouflage pattern so the kittens are not visible to predators. In a few weeks the hairs disappear as quickly as they came.

In recent days Marloes her cousins stayed with us and both the girls and the kittens loved it!

The kittens are already 3 weeks old and crawl around in the delivery box. Pretty soon we must put up the kitten run!

Faylinn still finds it beautiful and enjoys it when you sit next to the delivery box with her.

About a half week the kittens will get some raw meat from us. See if they are up to it or if they would rather go for the milk of mama!
