After 2 weeks living at Eric and Yvonne Niobe came back yesterday.
Chimp, the Turkish Van cat of Eric and Yvonne, has made it clear that he is not served by a friend or at least not of Niobe. Instead that time grew them closer to each other, the relationship just ran out of control. Chimp kept following Niobe continuously with as a result even fighting at the end. Eric and Yvonne are really upset because they have seen at their home that Niobe is a terrible hug who loves to lie to you to be petted, but she fully assembled shrink when they saw or heard Chimp.
Eric has brought her back to us yesterday, where Niobe walked through the living room for a few hours. Niobe is obviously not without a reason rehomed and we noticed immediately that she did not like to have open cats around, despite Faylinn and Aurora were upstairs and downstairs was only Luna.
When Eric went home we brought Niobe to Marloes her parents who have no pets. She began to hug, cuddle, stamp with her feet and even started playing right away. It is for us more than obvious that Niobe must be placed with someone where she is all alone ...

Ares: first CAP & nom BIS! |

Last Sunday, Anna went with Ares (kitten Phoebe 2009) to his very first show. It was an independent show, organized by the Dutch Persians Association (NPT) in Wouw.
Ares didn’t like it not much. On the judges table he was growling and playing simultaneously. At the ford raging for the BIS he totally had it. He has his first CAP point (a cat that three CAPs in the same variety obtained by three different judges at 3 different exhibitions is entitled to the title Premior (PR.)) and had even been nominated for the Best in Show (BIS)!

Vulcan and Niobe have moved |

Last weekend Niobe and Vulcan moved to their new homes. On Friday we have brought Niobe to Eric and Yvonne in Wormer, where she has the company of Turkish Van Chimp. She found it all very exciting and Chimp let her go ahead, though he kept her in his sight. Occasionally she came for a familiar hug from us on the couch, but Yvonne and Eric could also stroke her and were greeted by her the next morning. We await the first reports that she and Chimp are sleeping in a basket! The next day we have brought Vulcan to Folkert and Carmen in Putten where he will hopefully become the friend of F1 Bengal Broxi. Vulcan was immediately curious about the room and then in the outside enclosure where he witnessed chicken beside the run. Broxi did not want much of Vulcan, but the first reports indicated that at night they played together. It is therefore quite right with those two!

Aurora is already 6 months old and growing very fast!
She and her mother Faylinn are still very well together and play a lot. Also for a hug or wash Aurora often goes to Faylinn.

Aurora loves food! It does not matter what it is. Dried meat, an egg or a chicken wing, she eats everything. Last weekend we got duck necks from a friend. She had them for her cat, but they didn’t like them. Well, Aurora loves it!
