The development of the kittens is suddenly going really fast. Besides walking, running and playing they have also learned how to climb and what is the use of a litter box. They already learned how to eat meat, but this week they also learned how to drink water. Vulcan finds the kittens also a lot of fun. During the weekly photo shot he came regularly to see what was happening and he is now playing more and more with the kittens. The first kitten visit (apart from family and friends) was this weekend. The upcoming weekends more visits will be done and then will gradually clear which kitten will live where. |

This morning we were assuming that we enjoyed 4 boys and 3 girls, tonight it become clear that we have the company of a number of 7 guy We have been to the vet with them because we had doubts about the gender of some kittens, but we did not expect this! The ‘girls’ have been renamed and are now going through life as Apollo, Hermes and Chaos! |

And then we are already 4 weeks further! The kittens have seen a lot of changes this week. There is a kitten run build around the delivery box, because they figured out why there was a hole in the front. And last weekend they have had their first Carnibest meal! The found it very nice and grow well.
Check regularly Photo Album 2009 - Phoebe for general pictures of the kittens. |

The kittens are now three weeks old and are walking through the delivery box. They washed themselves, play with each other and make contact with us. They look at us, run towards us and squeaking against us. The socialization process is in full swing! |

The kittens are only two weeks old, but it feels like an eternity! This is probably because we are so intensely involved by feeding them. Seven kittens are very many and to let them all grow well we feed them every two hours besides their drinking with there mummy. It takes a lot of time and energy, but if you look what you get in return it is more than worth it. Last week the eyes opened and you notice that they already recognize your hands. If we sit next to the delivery box and lower a hand in some of them immediately go towards it. They even look up when they hear someone next to the delivery box. The first cautious steps are already made. That will be something when all 7 are going to run through the house! |
