Our 'Hippopotamus' princess is now 8 weeks pregnant. She now weighs 4470 grams and already put a total of 1.3 pounds on weight.
The kittens are very busy in her belly and we can not only feel that, but also see it.
Still a week and then the kittens may come! |

Recently we were asked if we wanted to participate in the Cattery of the week section of the website www.uwhondenkat.nl. Of course we responded excited and after answering a few questions and submitting some photos, this is the result: 'Bengals of love and happiness' |

Faylinn is now 7 weeks pregnant. She sleeps and eats a lot, but still brings every morning and night her mouse to play fetch. A few days she ate less, because she felt full because the kittens press against everything. The kittens are now so large that we can also see them movement in her belly. Can you imagine how that feels for her! Sometimes she does not know how to lie with her big belly and turns a lot. |

Last weekend we heard from both the owner of Ares as the owners of Phoenix Senang (and Achilles Bambu) that both men fetch! "Senang likes to fetch his blue fish." For Ares it does not matter what you throw. "Anything you throw somewhere he nicely brings back."
On the web log of Hermes and Heracles we even read that the both of them fetch! From whom they have inherited these genes we do not know, because in our home it is not Phoebe, but Faylinn who fetches! |

Yesterday we brought Chaos Athos to his new home. For 3.5 hours in a basket is obviously not very nice, so on the way he sat comfortably on my lap. He immediately walked confidently through the house and went directly to the dry food that he growling ate! Then he needs to do in the litter box. As if he comes their every day on the floor! After he entered the wonderful scratching posts and boards to the wall he had discovered the outdoor cats run. He immediately worked through the cat flap. There too he found even more wonderful posts and hanging baskets! It was so much news to him that he could not choose between indoor or outdoor. He should at least have fun, because in his new home he has 3 big outdoors! Yesterday evening, after all his adventures he jumped on his new owner's lap to lie there for a nice sleep! All kittens got a kitten package from us: It is now very quiet in the house ... Fortunately Faylinn is due over 3 weeks and then we can enjoy her kittens! |
