Last Monday Lima had fully had it with the kitten run and jumped over the edge in to the living room! Now they all could run out of the run if they were awake and when they sought a place to sleep we put them back in the delivery box. But it was clear that they wanted more space all the time!
Lima is also the discoverer of the group. She was the first that climbed in the seat, was the first on the back of the seats and was the first to jump on the couch. Cupid is everybody's friend. Find everyone lovely and is happy when he can sit on your lap. Aurora is a cuddle who loves it when you tickle on her belly and play with her. She enjoys playing with the boys. Julia is a toe biter! Titus is a real boy who likes to fight with his brother and sisters.
All future owners of the kittens have been visiting to meet their kitten and they're going to have to wait a long time, because it takes another 6 weeks before the kittens move to their new home. Until then, they get every week new photos of kittens and we make movies of the kittens and it is of course free to visit again before the moving date.

All 5 kittens eat the raw meat since this week and they use the litter box not only for a pee, but also for the great message! Before this Faylinn did all the work for the kittens, but now they have to find the litter box on their own.
They are hardly been kept in the kitten run that much energy they have. The art of climbing they certainly handle, because in no time they sit on top of the kitten scratching pole.

Yesterday (Chaos) Athos (kitten Phoebe 2009) has been with his owner Natascha to his first show. It was a FIFe show organized by Felis Belgica at Tienen.
Athos behaved excellent. He has an Excellent 1 (highest in the kitten class) and has even been nominated for the Best in Show (BIS)!

The five kittens of Faylinn are busy bees! Once they see or hear you they look up from the kitten run and start to squeal, because they like to be taken up and cuddled. Titus and Cupid have found the Carnibest and eat along with mama Faylinn. Julia has already taken a few cautious bites of Carnibest, but the rest leaves it with milk at the moment.

This week we have placed the kitten run in front of the delivery box, so now the kittens have a lot of space where they can walk, run and play.
Sometimes they look curiously into the food bowl of mama Faylinn and sometimes they even take a bite, but so far they give preference to mother's milk. That is no problem, because if we look at the weights of the kittens it seems she gives more than enough milk! And they are self-limiting on solid food. Occasionally we stop some raw meat in their mouths to let them taste and smell to get used.
Lima and Titus are covered in fuzzy! These are long white hairs which is the natural camouflage pattern so the kittens are not visible to predators. In a few weeks the hairs disappear as quickly as they came.
In recent days Marloes her cousins stayed with us and both the girls and the kittens loved it! |
